Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) –
Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) is a comprehensive four-day medical training course designed for outdoor recreationalists or wilderness trip leaders who venture into moderately remote and challenging environments. The content of this wilderness medicine course is significantly more detailed than the Wilderness First Aid course, including emphasis on common critical body system problems and environmental topics.
WAFA to WFR Bridge – 4 Day
The WAFA to WFR Bridge course upgrades the WMA Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) to a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) in four days. This course must be taken within three years of receiving a WAFA certificate. The WFR is the definitive medical training course for all outdoor professionals and enthusiasts.
